We’re seeking an experienced Accounting Lead to oversee our client’s daily and monthly accounting operations, ensuring ongoing compliance with GAAP and internal controls. Stepping in for someone on leave, this is a critical opportunity to keep the organization operating smoothly in their absence. How YOU Will Spend YOUR Days

• Manage key activities and business processes within the Corporate Accounting area.

• Establish and monitor appropriate procedures and controls to ensure integrity in the accounting reconciliations.

• Perform general accounting responsibilities, applying knowledge of GAAP accounting concepts.

• Duties include, but are not limited to: participation in the month-end closing process, lease accounting, intercompany elimination entries, and other complex accounting research and processes as assigned.

• Interface with internal bank customers and auditors to identify and resolve problems.

What YOU Bring

• Bachelor’s degree required. CPA preferred.

• 5+ years of corporate accounting experience.

• Experience providing oversight and monitoring of critical aspects of Corporate Accounting's daily operations and month-end closing processes (Balance Sheet Reconciliations, Fixed Asset Management, Flux Analysis).

• Any experience with reconciliation software, especially Frontier by Trintech, is a plus.

• PeopleSoft experience is a plus.

• Intermediate-level Excel skills.

• Detail oriented, effective communication skills, collaborative/team player.

Location: Onsite in Denver, CO - local candidates only

Compensation: W2 65.00 per hour (5-month contract)
