In this role, you would work closely with clients and the Branch Management in the client onboarding process. You will have high visibility into the operations of the organization, with the chance to propose and implement more efficient and customer-focused processes. How YOU Will Spend YOUR Days
Facilitate the opening of new accounts, including the ordering of checks and debit cards. Review of account opening documents for accuracy and completeness. Identify ways to streamline the account opening process.
Assisting customers with processing transactions, such as deposits, withdrawals, or payments.
Handling currency, transactions, and confidential information in a responsible manner.
Work with teams within the branch and across other departments on all aspects of the client onboarding process including online banking, Positive Pay and Deposit Express.
Ensure the client onboarding experience is seamless by consistently communicating the status of the account opening process with customers and branch management.
Maintains a current understanding of and complies with regulations that include but are not limited to Bank Secrecy Act, USA Patriot Act, Suspicious activity reporting, DD/Truth in Savings, and Expedited Funds Availability Act.
What YOU Bring
College Degree preferred, or the equivalent of 5 years of Banking and/or Customer Service experience.
Cash handling experience preferred.
Incredible commitment to customer service and quality work.
Strong written and verbal communication skills for dealing with customers and internal teammates.
Strong organizational skills, with the ability to multitask and balance priorities.
Strong digital literacy, with proficiency in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, and Outlook, ability to learn and use new software quickly, strong typing skills, and overall comfort using technology on a daily basis to execute work tasks.
Strong sense of self-motivation and initiative-taking, with the ability to manage your own time, know when to escalate, and work without constant supervision.
Ability to learn and comply with banking regulations such as Bank Secrecy Act, USA Patriot Act, Suspicious activity reporting, DD/Truth in Savings, and Expedited Funds Availability Act.
Location: Jericho, NY - onsite position (local candidates only!)
Compensation: $16.82 - $24.03 per hour
