Director of QSF Operations

We're searching for a Director of QSF Operations - think this role is for you? Reporting to the VP of QSF Operations, this high-profile role will lead a team in the day-to-day operations and develop operational efficiencies, processes, KPIs, reporting, and assist in implementing a custom platform. YOUR Why:

A QSF is a trust account established to receive settlement proceeds from a defendant or group of defendants. Its primary purpose is to allocate the monies deposited into it amongst various claimants, law firms, and other 3rd parties: and disburse the funds based upon agreement of the parties or court order, if required. Upon disbursing all of the monies the QSF ceases to exist.


How YOU Will Spend YOUR Days:

Serve as the internal point of contact for the COO and QSF Leadership Team for all QSF Admin-related initiatives.

Operational Efficiency:

  • Creating and reviewing company processes and procedures, training, workflows, communications, and materials to ensure quality standards are met and to identify trends (either problems or ideas for strategic improvement, and present to VP of Operations on a consistent basis) in both the US and India offices.

  • Interfaces with other internal departments including Sales and Marketing, Probate, Bankruptcy, and Lien resolution to initiate new QSF projects, execute all payments on time, and ultimately close down the project.

  • Partnering with Information Technology on the continued development & implementation of website.

  • KPI and Reporting - development of KPIs for Executive Leadership and timely reporting to illustrate how the QSF team is performing against specified goals.

  • Ensure that all Processes and Procedures are documented, updated, and stored for all associates to have access across the US and India teams.

  • Develop and ensure that SLAs and Goals are updated as needed and communicated to both the US and India QSF teams.

  • Continued development of Accounts Receivable process within the QSF Admin team so that all company fees are invoiced and collected based on the statement of work and the applicable billing triggers.

Leadership:

Leadership of the QSF Administration team on various matters including, without limitation:

  • Collaborating with all internal leadership team members to ensure constant communication and data exchange to ensure all projects are being executed timely and with no errors.

  • Collaborate with technology team on a consistent basis to provide requirements, priority lists, testing, and implementations into the business.

  • Instituting quality control measures for accuracy and to ensure all requirements for disbursement have been met.

  • Communicating any deficiencies/errors directly to internal teams and external clients/entities for resolution.

  • Hiring, training, coaching, and ongoing development of the QSF Administration team including one on one meetings, mid-year, and annual reviews, etc.

Day to Day:

  • Ensure the disbursement of all payments from QSF to Law Firms, claimants, and 3rd parties in accordance with the Master Settlement agreement and company’s Service Level Agreements.

  • Receiving disbursement requests and supporting data from parties (including internal teams, clients, claimants, claims administrators, lien resolution administrators, etc.).

  • Successful implementation, planning, execution, monitoring, controlling, and closure of the various settlement funds.

  • Acts as an escalation point for internal and external customers, which includes answering questions and concerns from prospects, clients, internal resources, and strategic partners related to the company’s products and services, the intake process of work opportunities from clients, processing, and delivery of our products and services, etc.

  • Collaborates and coordinates with the Company’s lien resolution, bankruptcy, probate, and claims administration on intercompany matters including without limitation, technical/business systems and process support, customer service issues, and various financial matters.


What YOU Will Bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree required; graduate degree preferred.

  • 10+ years of related experience.

  • 7+ years in a leadership role.

  • Excellent verbal, written, organization, analytical, and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

  • Ability to manage and meet competing deadlines and priorities.

  • Strong computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint).

  • Establish and maintain good working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

  • Ability to exercise discretion in the processing of confidential matters.

  • Outstanding Customer Service and decision-making skills.

  • Ability to lead client meetings and develop positive professional relationships.

  • Leads and directs internal and external meetings both onshore and offshore.

  • Ability to create and make presentations to various audiences as needed.

  • Reporting is vital, so this position requires an analytical thinker who can work with Data Analysts to create specific reporting as needed.

  • Ability to drive team progress and manage through change.


Location: Houston or Southlake, TX - Hybrid position (4 days in office)

Compensation: $130k - $140k per year
