Junior AP Specialist

Our client in the home services space is looking for a new full-time Junior-level AP Specialist to join their team! We need a team player to maintain relationships and communications with assigned vendors and process ~200-250 vendor invoices weekly. If you're in the market, don't hesitate to apply today!

The Jr. AP Specialist will be part of a team that is rebuilding and refining the financial operations of a quickly growing home services company headquartered in Charleston, South Carolina.


How YOU Will Spend YOUR Days

  • Process ~200-250 vendor invoices weekly, focused on the company’s top 15 repetitive vendors.

  • Work in NetSuite through the full Vendor Bill cycle, including accurately maintaining Vendor Master records, Vendor Bill input and coding, Vendor Bill Credits, and routing for approval.

  • Ensure proper Vendor Bill coding by both maintaining and utilizing a complex coding matrix to support accurate reporting throughout the organization.

  • Maintain relationships and communications with assigned vendors, including statement reconciliation and sending remittance notices.

  • Convert existing Vendors from offline to digital solutions, including updating vendors from mail/hard copy submissions to strictly digital/soft copy submissions, and converting any check remittance to ACH remittance.


What YOU Bring

  • 3+ years processing high volumes of vendor invoices and maintaining assigned vendor relationships as part of a small AP team (2-3 people).

  • NetSuite AP (Vendor Master, Vendor Bill, etc.) experience ideal.

  • MS Excel skills of any level preferred.

  • Comfort learning and operating new software.

  • Excitement around building and implementing time-saving efficiencies.

  • Deep commitment to customer service and vendor communication.


Location: Remote position, must be based in SC, NC, GA, VA, or MD.

Compensation: $62k - $65k per year

No third parties: no C2C or sponsorship available; must be eligible to work W2
