As a contract BA, you would work with clients to obtain requirements through interviews, document analysis, surveys, site visits, business process descriptions, workflow analysis, and use cases. And serve as the liaison between the customers and the delivery team via clearly documented functional, system, and process requirements!

Project Description: Portal Authentication and Entitlement project will consist of standardizing our customers to Ping authentication services.
Soft skills: Self-starter; being able to learn and do work on their own but not being afraid to ask questions. Excellent coordination and communication skills.
Technical skills: Experience on portal/web projects beneficial. Banking and financial experience is a huge plus, but not required.
How YOU Will Spend YOUR Days:
Validates requirements and assures that outcomes are aligned with the Platform’s business goals and business requirements.
Defines and develops business process workflow diagrams and data flow diagrams to identify, supplement and clarify business opportunities and the underlying business requirements.
Meets with stakeholders and subject matter experts to identify, define, and document business and functional requirements.
Understands the importance of non-functional requirements which can include system quality attributes, such as usability, security, reliability, performance, availability, and scalability.
Communicates regularly with key stakeholders, subject matter experts, and the project team to ensure alignment, understand progress against deliverables, and identify issues and solutions as needed.
Assists in designing and developing new solution test plans and test scripts.
Assists with user acceptance testing, and the tracking, and resolution of related issues. Supports the project hand-off process and gathering of lessons learned.
Promotes and supports organizational change management objectives, including training and end-user adoption of new technologies and solutions.
Participates in special projects, and performs other duties as assigned
What YOU Will Bring:
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Information Technology, or other relevant disciplines.
5+ years in a business analyst or technology leadership role – related business unit experience would be an asset
Strong Interpersonal and consultative skills – Seeks understanding, excellent listener
Natural ability to liaison between business groups and third parties/vendors
Proficient in data and business process analysis - Business Process Modeling (BPM) and Continuous Improvement (CI) capabilities/skills would be an asset
Industry knowledge – Ideally at both the Company and Platform level

Expert requirements elicitation skills – seeks root cause and a thorough evaluation of the problem

Proven experience with the Microsoft toolset including Visio and Project along with other tools relevant to assessment/analysis
Self-starter/learner - ability to adapt to fluid situations and manage through complexity
Optimizes work processes through an ongoing growth in understanding of business requirements, processes, and software
Fundamental analytical and conceptual thinking - orientation towards problem-solving and root cause analysis
Detail-oriented and able to deliver at an elevated level of accuracy
Experience creating reports and giving presentations – comfortable with executive-level discussions
Software development life cycle (SDLC) expertise
Well-versed in Waterfall and Agile methodologies
Location: Denver, CO - Hybrid position (1-4 x per month)
Compensation: $55 per hour W2
