YOUR Why
The primary purpose of the QSF Analyst is to receive lawsuit settlement data from various entities from which to develop and maintain tracking for payments out of an assigned Qualified Settlement Fund. Auditable initiation and tracking of payments are required; and are made to many external entities including attorneys, claimants, lien holders, and other 3rd party entities. In addition, be responsible for the daily activity and overlooking the progress of each settlement assigned. The QSF Analyst will receive, clean, process, verify and report on all data applicable to these payments. The QSF Analyst will also work with the lien team in Austin, attorneys, and other pertinent parties to update and react to events throughout the lifecycle of the QSF to maintain accurate data related to these payments.
How YOU Will Spend Your Days
Coordinates the management of each settlement:
Receiving disbursement requests and supporting data from parties internal and external partners and taking the appropriate actions
Performing quality control checks for accuracy and ensuring all requirements for disbursements have been met
Communicating deficiencies directly to QSF Project Managers and QSF Managers for resolution with the Client
Ensure Data Integrity within company's tools for each claimant
Initiate payments to individual claimants, law firms, and any other parties associated with settlements using the company's proprietary workflow system
Coordinating with internal departments and stakeholders as needed
What YOU Bring
Great attitude - can do will do and super curious in nature.
3+ years of accounting/finance/treasury/fund management experience
Strong computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint)
Good analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to prioritize work to meet the daily/monthly SLAs
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
A desire for continuous process improvement and optimization
Ability to work in a team-based environment and communicate with fellow employees in different offices across the organization
Ability to exercise discretion in the processing of confidential matters
Location: Houston, TX - 4 days in office & 5 days after training
Compensation: $68k - $73k per year
