YOUR Why:

The Senior Fund Accountant will be responsible for helping coordinate quarterly and annual financial statements preparation and review, assist with investment closings and funds flows, manage internal Fund and investment reporting, and provide support to the Fund Accounting Managers with other related tasks.

How YOU will spend YOUR days:

• Assist in the quarterly financial statement process, including coordinating with third-party administrators, reviewing financial statements, and corresponding with auditors

• Coordinate capital calls and distributions monthly or as necessary

• Assist with quarterly valuation of investments and reporting to valuation committee

• Coordinate with investment and operating teams to prepare monthly/quarterly investor reporting metrics

• Manage treasury and wire process for Funds across multiple banking platforms

• Prepare and update Fund level waterfalls

• Prepare annual tax trial balances for various partnership entities

• Work with third-party Administrators to ensure weekly and monthly transactions are appropriately recorded

• Support Fund Accounting Managers and department with ad hoc special projects

What YOU Will Bring:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or equivalent

• Professional certification (CPA or equivalent) strongly preferred

• 2+ years of accounting experience

• Experience in private equity strongly preferred

• Knowledge of Investment Company accounting and legal structures is a plus

• Experience with consolidation of legal entities for reporting is a plus

• Ability to communicate and interact professionally and effectively through written and oral communication with internal teams, investors, and service providers

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite

• Strong analytical skills

• Attention to detail

• Ability to prioritize, multi-task, work under pressure, and meet deadlines.

Location: Cherry Creek, CO - Onsite Position

Compensation: $85k - $105k per year
