YOUR Why
The Vendor Oversight Specialist will be part of a team that oversees all third-party administrator (TPA) vendor relationships on behalf of our client. In this role, you’ll serve as a primary point of contact for your assigned TPA(s) and internal stakeholders who work closely with that TPA. This role provides an opportunity to see the company’s operations from a unique perspective - you will work across multiple business teams, and will be able to see front office, middle office, and back office operations through a lens that allows you to understand how all teams function.
In this role, you will provide oversight and governance to Third-Party Administrators in relation to Transfer Agency Services, Middle Office and Custody Services, Fund Administration, and Information Technology. You will be responsible for vendor management, project management, monthly performance measurement and client reporting.
How YOU Will Spend YOUR Days
Maintain the TPA Due Diligence framework and a suitable TPA Meeting Matrix
Review of TPA KPIs and the SLAs along with the business as appropriate
Facilitate a risk assessment and due-diligence site visit program
Manage the escalation of service issues with TPAs
Manage key internal stakeholders and external relationship management with TPAs
Produce and present monthly governance reporting to senior management
Coordinate and stakeholder manage the TPA Change process and pipeline
Review of TPA invoices and KPI service credits/debits ensuring they reflect the agreed tariff and business
Support allocated projects, enhancements and TPA Change Controls ensuring service level descriptions are in place
Assist in the maintenance of internal and TPA risk and controls monitoring
Produce monthly reporting on TPA performance
Lead meetings with operational team heads to review root cause, corrective and preventative measures relating to incidents
What YOU Bring
Financial services experience, particularly in investment operations and/or fund administration, with a good understanding of an outsourced vendor model
Previous experience in vendor management, key client relationship management, TPA oversight or governance, or related
Demonstrated experience serving as a key contact for internal and external stakeholders, and serving as the escalation point for vendor/client issues
Strong interpersonal/relationship skills e.g., communication skills, both verbal and written, and ability to listen and liaise with stakeholders at all levels of an organization
Experience with data analysis and storytelling, with the ability to create monthly reporting using Excel, PowerBI, Word, and other tools
Good planning, organizational and prioritization skills
Strong background in controls and problem-solving
Location: 3 days a week onsite in Cherry Creek, CO - local candidates only
Compensation: $70k - $80k per year
