Our client is seeking a detail-oriented Deposit Operations Specialist to support the daily operations and processing activities that keep banking services running smoothly and efficiently. In this role, you’ll execute a variety of critical operational functions while collaborating across departments. How YOU Will Spend YOUR Days
Execute day-to-day operations and system needs on the Deposit Operations Team.
Perform daily tasks as assigned, but not limited to, ACH and wire processing, reconciliations, and customer service functions.
Coordinate the development of operational workflows for maximum efficiency.
Assist with disaster recovery tests (conducted annually).
Coordinate, write, and maintain operational procedures, policies, and/or Operations Manuals.
Review Overdraft accounts and coordinate the customer contact process leading to Charge Off as applicable.
Assist with the Operational Risk Committee in the capacity of keeping minutes and distributing meeting notes.
Dormant account monitoring and reporting.
Cross-functional department support (Treasury Management, Finance, Lobby Staff).
New account and current account maintenance reviews to ensure compliance with all BSA and bank policies.
Maintain current knowledge and follow all bank financial and security regulations and procedures.
What YOU Bring
A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
3 years of banking/deposit operations experience is required.
Accounting or bookkeeping experience is preferred.
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite; 10-Key by touch is preferable.
Knowledge of bank products and services, and familiarity with financial terms and practices.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Ability to handle pressure and meet deadlines. Good organization and time management skills.
Strong attention to detail.
Ability to work in and facilitate a team environment and with internal/external contacts. Ability to be flexible and adaptable to changing environment.
Ability to work independently and maintain confidentiality in handling customer and bank information.
Location: Onsite in the Denver Tech Center for the first 3 months for training and onboarding, then transitions to hybrid (3 days per week onsite)
Compensation: $65k - $75K per year
