YOUR Why
As our client’s General Manager, you’ll have the opportunity and autonomy to shape and lead the organization’s strategic vision for credit recovery services. Your goal is to define the company’s vision and goals, drive strategy to recapture lost market share and drive future growth, and create operational excellence that leads to exceptional client outcomes. In this role, you’ll oversee all facets of this portfolio company’s operations, including business development, client services, collections, and compliance, ensuring the delivery of high-quality solutions. You’ll guide organizational transformation, optimize revenue and costs, and strengthen relationships with clients. This role is responsible for ensuring regulatory adherence, championing ethical practices, building a high-performing leadership team, and positioning our client to secure key new business opportunities while fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
How YOU Will Spend YOUR Days
Set and execute the company’s vision for credit recovery services, aligning with corporate goals and regulatory standards.
Oversee all aspects of credit recovery operations, including collections, compliance, technology integration, and client services. Ensure consistent delivery of high-quality, compliant, and compassionate customer service.
Develop and execute long-term strategies aligned with corporate goals and regulatory requirements.
Lead organizational transformation to enhance service delivery and operational efficiency.
Drive revenue growth and cost optimization. Monitor financial performance, set budgets, and ensure profitability across business units.
Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with government and institutional clients. Ensure client satisfaction through tailored solutions and measurable outcomes.
Position the business to capture key new business targets with strategic clients.
Ensure adherence to federal, state, and local regulations. Champion ethical practices and risk mitigation strategies across all departments.
Build and lead a high-performing executive team. Foster a culture of accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement.
What YOU Bring
Experience in highly regulated accounts receivable management, collections, and/or asset recovery.
Experience participating in acquisitions, mergers, and/or divestitures, ideally readying a company for a PE transaction. Experience operating within a PE-backed environment is a plus.
Experience driving customer engagement and satisfaction through the delivery process. Must have a strong background and desire to be in a customer-facing position.
Experience with RFP-based sales processes.
Any experience working with government agencies is a plus.
Strong knowledge of regulatory compliance and risk management.
Proven ability to lead large teams, complex projects, and complex operations.
Exceptional strategic planning, financial acumen, and operational management skills.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder engagement abilities.
Location: Remote position, with a preference for someone in the Eastern or Central Time Zone. Up to 10% travel may be required.
Compensation: $200k - 230k per year + bonus
