YOUR Why

We’re looking for a bold, strategic leader to launch our client’s first-ever Head of Sales & Marketing role - a high-impact position created to supercharge revenue growth. In this leadership position, you’ll sharpen go-to-market strategies, refine market positioning, and bring sales and marketing into perfect sync. Partnering closely with senior sales leadership, you’ll elevate performance, align marketing with business development goals, and create a seamless customer journey. Beyond strategy, you’ll recruit and mentor rising sales talent, design scalable sales-enablement processes, and serve as the key bridge between sales, marketing, client success, operations, and executive leadership.


How YOU Will Spend YOUR Days

Growth Strategy & Sales Enablement:

  • Partner with EVP-level sales leaders to identify high-impact opportunities for growth and resource alignment.

  • Design and implement scalable sales enablement tools, playbooks, and training pathways for junior sales talent.

  • Own account assignments among junior and senior sales personnel.

  • Evaluate and improve sales processes, pipeline health, and forecasting discipline without slowing momentum.

  • Serve as a connector between sales, client delivery, legal, finance, and operations to streamline handoffs and reduce friction.

  • Responsible for reporting to the CEO and Board on all sales initiatives.

  • Lead use of Salesforce Customer Relationship Management system by Sales Team.

  • Regularly update the sales pipeline report.

  • Coordinate sales efforts on key projects and work directly with operations to help scope opportunities.

Marketing Leadership:

  • Develop and execute a strategic marketing roadmap that supports business development priorities, elevates brand visibility, and drives qualified leads

  • Oversee and mentor the marketing function, with a strong focus on strategy, messaging, campaign design, sales collateral, and thought leadership.

  • Align marketing activities and KPIs with business goals, moving from tactical support to a strategic partner to sales.

  • Champion data-driven marketing by evaluating performance and continuously optimizing across channels. Ensure all marketing activities generate appropriate ROI.

Team Development & Cross-Functional Impact:

  • Recruit, mentor, and help advance junior sales talent into higher-impact roles.

  • Translate sales team needs into cross-functional priorities and help resolve internal bottlenecks.

  • Collaborate with the CEO and executive team on go-to-market planning, pricing strategies, and product positioning.

  • Stay ahead of industry trends to ensure our client remains competitive/forward-thinking.


What YOU Bring

  • 10+ years of experience in a revenue-related leadership role spanning sales, marketing, and/or go-to-market strategy.

  • Strong understanding of complex, relationship-based B2B sales cycles in legal services/tech, professional services, or mass torts/class action administration.

  • Proven ability to partner with high-performing sales teams.

  • Experience leading or revamping a B2B marketing function with a clear emphasis on growth strategy and sales support.

  • High EQ with a collaborative, service-oriented leadership style and sees themselves as a facilitator, not a gatekeeper.

  • Exceptional communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.


Location: Remote position - open to anywhere in the U.S.

Travel requirement: Ability to travel 25-35% of the time for trade shows, industry events, client meetings, and leadership meetings.

Compensation: $200k - $250k per year + bonus
