Join our client’s team as a Healthcare Sales Representative and play a vital role in expanding access to innovative senior care solutions within your community! In this field-based role, you’ll build and nurture relationships with referral sources across post-acute, senior, and managed care settings, educating partners on PACE services and driving consistent enrollment growth. We’re seeking a motivated, results-driven professional who thrives in a relationship-focused environment. You’ll manage a dynamic territory, leverage Salesforce CRM to track and grow their pipeline, and consistently achieve monthly enrollment goals. Reporting to the Regional Sales Director, you’ll lead outreach efforts across professional, community, and government channels, strengthening the referral network and driving meaningful impact for the populations our client serves!
How YOU Will Spend YOUR Days
B2B - Sales/Business Development:
Execute Marketing/Sales Plan and exceed monthly enrollment quotas (6-8 enrollments/month).
Develop and execute the sales strategy of assigned territories for the Program of All-inclusive Care for the Elderly (PACE).
Prospect new account opportunities based on research.
Create strong relationships with referral sources in order to effectively educate others on PACE services using technical selling skills and product knowledge. Referral sources within channels, including but not limited to healthcare professionals, inpatient/outpatient healthcare settings, independent living communities, government entities, faith-based groups, and community resources.
Increase the account volume of referral sources in your assigned territories, as well as referral volume through strategic account management and follow-up to meet and exceed assigned minimum performance and activity expectations.
2 self-generated leads/day with a minimum 35% conversion to qualified referral, or higher based on historical territory analysis.
25 sales call attempts/week, at least 10 of which result in meaningful contacts and actionable next steps.
Create and conduct effective proposal presentations to referral sources.
B2C - Individual Potential Participant Qualification:
Create and conduct effective proposal presentations to prospective participants.
Receive communication from call center, broker, and/or other Outreach Specialists to hand off complex leads requiring further qualification.
Identify populations of Medicaid, Medicare, Dual Eligible, VA, and Private Pay individuals and strategically align PACE services within your communities through referral channels.
CRM Workflow and Documentation:
Maintain accurate records of all sales and prospecting activities, including sales calls, presentations, closed sales, and follow-up in the CRM.
Develop and manage accounts by maintaining regular contact with referral sources and documenting communication in regard to type of contact, follow-through, and results for the assigned territory and business line, working directly into the CRM software in real time. Maintain CRM for qualified accounts and prospect leads through referrals, telephone canvassing, face-to-face meetings, cold calling referral sources, email, and networking.
Identify customer/referral needs, match the need to the value of PACE services offered, and ask for the referral and/or sale based on strong listening skills and the ability to empathize with the customer.
Participate and contribute to developing PACE-related educational programs offered to referral sources, prospects, and company employees.
Regular reporting on goal attainment and performance as requested by sales leadership.
What YOU Bring
Key Requirements:
Proven experience in B2B healthcare sales and/or business development.
Track record of meeting or exceeding quotas (monthly targets, pipeline goals, conversions).
Strong prospecting skills (cold outreach, territory development, lead generation).
Basic understanding of Medicare, Medicaid, dual-eligible populations, and healthcare delivery systems (post-acute, senior care, managed care).
Ability to build and maintain referral networks.
Strong communication and presentation skills.
Experience using a CRM (preferably Salesforce).
Ability to track activities consistently, manage pipelines, and document interactions in real time.
Results-driven mindset, ability to translate needs into solutions.
What Would Set You Apart:
Direct experience with PACE programs, senior care, and home health, hospice, SNF, or managed care sales.
Experience with territory planning and market analysis.
Advanced Salesforce skills (reporting and pipeline forecasting).
Familiarity with sales analytics tools and outreach automation tools.
Entrepreneurial mindset - ownership of territory growth.
Location: Onsite in San Bernardino, CA - requires a mix of in-office and field work to drive relationships and lead generation
Compensation: $70k - $80k per year + commission
