Location:
Denver, CO
Status:
Contract - Onsite
Love getting into the details and making processes actually work? Join our client as an HR Process Analyst and play a key role in partnering with HR teams to document, streamline, and improve critical business processes. We’re looking for a highly organized, detail-oriented professional with experience in process mapping, cross-functional collaboration, and project coordination. Apply today if that sounds like you!
YOUR Why
The Process Analyst will support our client’s HR team’s process documentation initiative by serving as a hands-on project coordinator and process documentation partner. In this role, you’ll help facilitate process documentation workshops, coordinate day-to-day project activities, and work side-by-side with HR team members to create accurate, complete, and usable process documentation. You’ll work closely with an internal HR project manager and HR subject matter experts to help move the work forward in a structured, consistent, and practical way! We’re looking for someone who’s organized, detail-oriented, collaborative, and comfortable working across teams. The ideal candidate has practical experience documenting, assessing, and improving business processes.
How YOU Will Spend YOUR Days
Process Documentation Support:
Partner with HR team members and subject matter experts to document current-state HR processes.
Help prepare for process documentation workshops, including agendas, materials, templates, pre-work, and follow-up items.
Support workshop facilitation by capturing notes, documenting decisions, tracking open questions, and clarifying next steps.
Translate workshop discussions, interviews, and working sessions into clear, accurate process documentation.
Create and maintain process maps, process narratives, checklists, decision points, role clarity documentation, and supporting materials.
Ensure documentation is thorough, easy to understand, and aligned with agreed-upon standards.
Identify gaps, inconsistencies, risks, control points, handoff issues, and areas to include additional clarification.
Help ensure process documentation reflects how work is actually performed, not just how it is intended to work.
Identify opportunities to simplify, clarify, standardize, or improve processes where appropriate.
Assist with documenting roles, responsibilities, inputs, outputs, systems used, and key controls.
Help ensure process documentation can support future operational improvements, technology prioritization, and governance.
Project Coordination:
Work closely with the internal HR project manager to track milestones, deliverables, dependencies, risks, and action items.
Maintain project trackers, documentation repositories, status updates, and meeting materials.
Monitor progress against the project plan and escalate delays, risks, or unresolved issues.
Help organize documentation so it is easy for HR team members to access, use, and maintain over time.
Cross-Functional Partnership:
Work collaboratively with HR functional teams, including HR Operations, HR Communities of Expertise (COEs), and HR Business Partners.
Build productive working relationships with team members at varying levels.
Ask thoughtful questions to understand process steps, decision points, systems, pain points, and downstream impacts.
Communicate clearly and professionally with stakeholders across the HR function.
Balance independence with appropriate alignment to the internal project manager and HR leadership.
What YOU Bring
Key Requirements:
Approximately 1-3 years of experience in business process analysis, process documentation, project coordination, HR operations, operations support, or a related role.
Experience documenting business processes using process maps, written procedures, workflows, job aids, or similar tools.
Experience working cross-functionally with business stakeholders to gather information, validate details, and drive follow-up.
Strong attention to detail and ability to produce accurate, high-quality documentation.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks, meetings, action items, and deadlines.
Ability to work independently while staying aligned with project direction and stakeholder expectations.
Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a collaborative, service-oriented environment.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Comfort asking clarifying questions and working through ambiguity.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Teams.
What Would Set You Apart:
Experience supporting, improving, and/or documenting HR processes.
Experience creating high-quality, easy-to-use, and easy-to-understand process documentation.
Experience leading workshops, working sessions, or project meetings.
