Our client seeks a proactive, detail-oriented Office Administrator to serve as the backbone of its day-to-day operations. This is a highly visible, in-person role ideal for someone who takes pride in creating a polished, well-run environment and enjoys supporting a professional team.


This role owns the full spectrum of day-to-day office functions, from welcoming guests at reception and keeping the office stocked and running smoothly, to planning company events and outings, processing invoices, and managing expense approvals. The ideal candidate is a self-starter who anticipates needs before they arise, takes ownership of their tasks, and brings a service-oriented mindset to everything they do. As a highly visible member of the team, this person plays a meaningful role in shaping the firm's culture and experience for employees, guests, and partners alike.


The successful Office Administrator is an energetic and proactive professional who doesn't mind wearing multiple hats. Experienced in handling a wide range of administrative duties and executive support-related tasks, and able to work independently with little or no supervision.


How YOU Will Spend YOUR Days

Reception & Guest Experience

  • Staff the front reception desk during business hours, serving as the first point of contact for guests, investors, and vendors.

  • Greet and direct visitors, clients, and vendors in a professional and welcoming manner.

  • Manage incoming calls, direct inquiries, and handle general office communications.

Office Management

  • Maintain adequate levels of office supplies, anticipating needs and reordering proactively.

  • Track and maintain IT supplies, including laptops, printers, cell phones, and tablets.

  • Manage relationships with Building Management, Utilities providers (i.e., AT&T, Comcast), outsourced IT vendor, and other key service providers for the office.

  • Monitor and maintain kitchen inventory, placing regular grocery and supply orders to ensure the office is well-stocked.

  • Ensure common areas, conference rooms, and the kitchen are tidy and presentable.

Event Planning & Meals

  • Plan and execute company events, including Annual Investor Meeting, team outings, and celebrations from concept through completion, including venue research, vendor coordination, and logistics.

  • Company events may include up to 100 people and require travel/overnight stays.

  • Coordinate and order team lunches twice per week, managing vendor relationships and accommodating dietary preferences.

Finance & Administrative Support

  • Manage and process company invoices using Bill.com, ensuring timely and accurate payment.

  • Review and approve employee expense reports submitted through Divvy, enforcing company expense policies.

  • Maintain organized records for invoices, receipts, and approvals.

  • Monitor and maintain office software subscription platforms.

  • Support the team with scheduling, travel arrangements, and other administrative tasks as needed.

  • Handle miscellaneous office-related tasks and special projects as assigned.

Mail & Communications

  • Receive, sort, and distribute incoming mail and packages; prepare outgoing shipments and overnight deliveries as needed.


What YOU Bring

  • Proven office management, administrative, or assistant experience. Experience within private equity, venture capital, legal, or similar firms is preferred.

  • Professional, polished demeanor with strong interpersonal and communication skills.

  • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.

  • Experience planning and coordinating corporate events or team activities.

  • Experience with or ability to quickly learn financial/AP platforms such as Bill.com and expense management tools such as Divvy.

  • Discretion and professionalism when managing confidential firm and investor information.

  • Reliable, punctual, and committed to consistent on-site presence.

  • Notary Public certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire).

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel).

  • Valid Driver’s license and vehicle to use for ad-hoc errands.

  • Ability to lift ~10 pounds regularly for the purpose of stocking office and kitchen supplies, moving IT equipment (computers, monitors), etc.

  • High school diploma required. Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a related field preferred.


Location: 100% onsite in Cherry Creek, CO - local candidates only!

Compensation: $90k per year + $10k annual bonus
