We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Product Owner to join our client’s team and drive the evolution of their digital ecosystem, particularly as they unpack legacy data and reporting systems and transition to a modern cloud architecture. The ideal candidate will work closely with Product Managers, Data Architects, and Agile delivery teams to plan, deliver, and optimize key products and services. This role requires a balance of strategic thinking and tactical execution, with a strong understanding of SAFe methodologies, excellent communication skills, and the ability to drive cross-functional collaboration.

How YOU Will Spend YOUR Days

• Translate business needs into actionable user stories with a strong emphasis on data-driven decision-making.

• Collaborate with data engineering and analytics teams to ensure data pipelines, governance, and reporting capabilities are embedded into product design.

• Champion the use of data to inform backlog prioritization, customer experience improvements, and performance metrics.

• Lead Agile ceremonies and ensure alignment across delivery teams, including data and infrastructure stakeholders.

• Identify and mitigate risks related to data quality, cloud scalability, and system interoperability.

• Define and prioritize product features and requirements.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineering, design, and marketing.

• Conduct market research to identify customer needs and industry trends.

• Create and maintain a product roadmap aligned with business goals.

• Monitor product performance and user feedback to drive continuous improvement.

What YOU Bring

• 3-5 years of experience as a Product Owner in enterprise environments, preferably within financial services or cloud transformation initiatives.

• Strong understanding of SAFe Agile practices and experience working in scaled Agile frameworks.

• Familiarity with data platforms, data modeling, and analytics tools (e.g., Quicksight, Power BI, Tableau, SQL, Python, R).

• Understanding of database management systems (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL).

• Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure).

• Experience with cloud-native product development and migration strategies.

• Ability to synthesize complex data and technical inputs into clear product requirements.

• Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills.

• Experience in financial services, fintech, or banking is a must.

Location: Hybrid in Denver, CO (onsite Tues-Thurs) - local candidates only

Compensation: 60.00 per hour W2; 6-month contract
