YOUR Why
In this role, you’ll lead the strategy, development, and success of our client’s suite of cash management/treasury management digital products. You’ll own the full product lifecycle: researching market trends, identifying customer needs, shaping solutions, setting pricing, and ensuring products are competitive, profitable, and easy to use. Products would include mobile banking, bill pay, fraud prevention tools, and cash management services. Partner with cross-functional teams to launch new offerings, enhance existing ones, and manage billing for all Cash Management products (Account Analysis). As the product expert, you’ll track performance, evaluate opportunities, and drive a strategic roadmap that delivers real value for both customers and the business.
How YOU Will Spend YOUR Days
Lead development and management of assigned digital treasury management and payment products, with a particular focus on online channels like Online Banking and Mobile Banking.
Determine product strategy, vision, roadmap, and key performance indicators for products. Provide clear vision and scope documentation, use cases, workflows, wireframes, design and product requirements, and other materials as needed to support UX design and development.
Assess customer needs and “pain points” to build products, tools, and technology to address problems and improve the overall customer experience.
Conduct meetings with key internal/external partners and stakeholders to develop new products and enhance existing products using industry best practices.
Create proposals and justifications for new products, elimination of underutilized products, or modification of existing products to meet the needs of the market and improve profitability of the product line. Creates concise, compelling content and business cases to present and sell concepts internally.
Establish price points and pricing strategy for products. Monitor product price, revenue, and expense. Influence drivers of revenue and expense to increase profitability through internal education and business case construction.
Integrate data analytics, product metrics, user experience research, market analytics, and competitive factors to drive understanding and differentiation of products. Track and analyze metrics compared to industry benchmarks.
Build and present end-to-end product updates inclusive of current production metrics, new features, and financial forecasting. Publish reports on product performance, trends, and risks/opportunities for both short and long term.
Identify and evaluate partnering opportunities for third-party products and vendors to broaden the product line.
Participate in key sales situations for products by advising sales and operational teams. Conducts demos, presentations, and other information-sharing sessions with internal stakeholders to increase product success.
What YOU Bring
7+ years of product management, strategy, or consulting experience, with at least 3 years focused on treasury management or cash management products in the banking industry.
Proven track record delivering treasury/cash management products through digital channels.
Familiarity with business banking needs - payables (ACH, wires, electronic/ manual checks), receivables (remote deposit, lockbox), and reporting for accounting/ bookkeeping/business management.
Strong familiarity and working relationships with digital banking/payments vendors like FIS, Backbase, Q2, Bottomline, etc.
Working knowledge of API frameworks and their role in enabling connectivity with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Workday).
Familiarity with integration standards and file formats such as BAI2, ISO 20022, and EDI, which are critical for client onboarding and transaction reporting.
Experience defining product vision, strategy, KPIs, and roadmaps, with hands-on creation of scope documents, workflows, wireframes, and requirements.
Ability to collaborate and work cross-functionally with internal teams, external partners, and stakeholders to launch and improve products.
Ability to evaluate market trends, competitive positioning, and emerging opportunities to inform product decisions.
Experience setting price points, developing pricing strategies, and analyzing revenue, expenses, and profitability.
Proficient in using product metrics, UX research, and industry benchmarks to guide product enhancements.
Location: 2 days a week onsite - ideally based in Denver, CO, but could also be based in one of the following locations:
Wichita, KS; St. Louis, MO; Spokane, WA; Sacramento, CA; Omaha, NE; Minneapolis, MN; Louisville, KY; Fargo, ND; Enfield, CT; Austin, TX; Atlanta, GA.
Compensation: $100k - $130k per year
