YOUR Why

As an integral member of our client's Accounting and Reporting team, you will be responsible for accounting functions across various funds, investment vehicles, and adviser entities. The work you do will have a direct impact on the performance of the firm as well as the satisfaction of and value they provide to their investors. Our client successfully achieves a balance between significant investments and partnerships while still maintaining a close-knit, entrepreneurial, and collaborative atmosphere. We are looking for a highly capable, motivated individual who takes pride in accuracy, consistency, and follow-through.


How YOU Will Spend YOUR Days

  • Perform quarterly fund/investor accounting and reporting functions including: distribution calculations, capital calls, income/expense allocations, and advisory fee calculations/billings.

  • Maintenance of general ledger information.

  • Offshore/blocker entity accounting.

  • Subscription line management.

  • Prepare and review accounts payable, intercompany, and accounts receivable entries.

  • Third party communication including: property managers/accountants, portfolio companies, bankers, vendors, and legal firms.

  • Assist with annual audit and tax process, including preparation and review of PBC deliverables.

  • Valuation review and related accounting.

  • Treasury management including daily cash tracking, monthly bank reconciliations, and initiating payments when needed.

  • Other tasks and ad hoc projects as required.


What YOU Bring

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting or Finance.

  • 1-3 years prior accounting work experience, ideally with a mix of experience in fund accounting or audit and corporate accounting through internships and work experience.

  • Private Equity and/or public accounting experience is a plus.

  • Yardi Voyager/Investment Management experience is a plus.

  • Passionate, highly motivated, and organized individual with initiative for timely and accurate results.

  • Professional with a positive attitude and proactive approach to daily tasks.

  • Self-starter who enjoys problem-solving.

  • Strong communication skills.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel.

  • Ability to multitask while maintaining attention to detail.


Location: Fully onsite in Cherry Creek North - local candidates only

Compensation: $80k - $90k per year
